Welcome to The Vale Commons
The Vale Commons are the largest area of land available for recreation and open to the public of Guernsey. The area is run by the Vale Commons Council, comprising five members, all unpaid. The members, and those eligible to elect them, must be Habitants (islanders that live in the Clos du Valle). The Vale Commons Council are committed to preserving this area’s unique heritage and run it for the enjoyment of the population of Guernsey.
